Childhood dreams, just one more

Last week I already told you that another idea for a hankie dress was hanging around and this is the idea. This time there are two sheets of paper, on the front page a grandmothers flowergarden of 7 hexagons is sewed on. On the second piece of paper the same hexagons are used as building blocks and although they are the same shape, it feels like something completely different. The two sheets are bound together with three bullion knots.

What I really like in this piece is the different use of the hexagon and the technique of the bullion knot used like this which I learned from my paperplates. And what do you like?

Have a lovely tuesday.

Elizabeth
