Last week I showed you the embroidered start. Now I can tell you that I was brave and sewed the backing on with the machine. The letter of invitation to a dinnerparty will be pinned inside. I decided to make something similar for a 18th birthday since he also want a gift that doesn't really need a wrapping. Wish me luck!

Have a lovely thursday.

I wish you luck but you don't need it...what will you be cooking for this Dinner party?

What a special way to enclose an invitation.

I knew you could do it!!! ;-))) You have to stop being scared of the machine, E, it has its purpose at times. ;-))) If you can stitch as beautifully as you do by hand, you certainly wouldn't have a problem pressing the pedal and letting the machine do its job. ;-) The envelope turned out fantastic and I'm sure he's going to love it. Love your idea to enclose the invitation. :) As Karen asked, what are you going to be whipping up for the dinner party? I'm sure the 18th birthday recipient is going to adore what you make also. :)
