Two ladies and the sun

As I already told you before it is time to play with helleristninger again. This time I embroidered a unique rockcarving on a piece of aquarel paper with red thread.

Besides holding my needle with thread I have been punching patterns in paper and colouring them with a pen. Since I like the result of this what if, I'd share it with you.

How are your creative journey's going?

Elizabeth

Hey - so you're going into paper!

Both the sewn women around the sun and the punched motives look really great, Elizabeth!

I remember that back then, in school, we first had to train machine sewing straight lines on paper before we got real fabric to sew on ... I don't reckon you would consider trying that?

I wonder how you manage hand sewing those neat stitches without crinkling the paper?
