Courtship, for the love of it II

While I was travelling around on the net I found this poster. It is not the first time I saw this type of poster. This time however it did give me the idea to take a small piece of cloth and embroider words associated with courtship on it. From time to time I will give you an update on the progress. Normally a project is accompanied by music, as most of you know, but this time it will be movies/series to strenghten the connection. The first movie is Emma, written by Jane Austen, with Kate Beckinsale and Mark Strong, made in 1996 by the BBC. (This doesn't exclude music from the project!)

Thank you all for visiting and leaving your marks at Landanna and before I sign of for the weekend I want to give you another smile-quote:

A smile is the light in the window of your face that tells people you're at home.
author unknown

Have a great weekend filled with your hearts desires.

Lady Sophia's Lover said...

You arise beauteous in the horizon of the heavens
Oh living Aten who creates life.
When you shine forth in the Eastern horizon you fill every land with your beauty.
You are so beautiful: you are great; gleaming and high over every land.
Your rays embrace the lands and all you have created;
You are Re and reach out to all your creations, and hold them for your beloved Son.
You are afar, but your rays touch the earth;
Men see you, but know not your ways.

...thanks...sweet Lady!
