Result of my give-away gift

You probably remember that I won the give-away from Amelia a few weeks ago. Since she gave me a collage package I felt I had to make the most of it. As you can see my glueing techniques need some work but otherwise I like the result.

Yesterday I showed you the pencase which I saw at my taekwondo weekend. Deanna of Eclectic- Meanderings was so kind to give me a link with a method of how to sew the zipper in which I share ofcourse with you. Thanks Deanna for your help.

This might become my next project outside my comfortzone. Did you do a project lately in an unusual technique for you lately?

Have a fantastic day with or without snow.

Nice work!

Is the background sewn or is it a print?

I think it would look great to zig-zag around the torn motifs with the sewing machine as well (or a freemotion machine embroidery, if you like to try that)- then you could do a (note-)book cover out of it ...

Just an idea that struck me ... Thanks for the recycling links as well!
