Bird of love and hope II

The embroidery-piece of The bird of love and hope was still waiting in my basket of unfinished projects to be finished. It only needed a knitted background and the last little details put in place. This weekend I finally got around to it.

Now it is ready and this bird is ready to fly.

Have a fantastic start of your week.

Elizabeth

Isn't this a piece of the 'Sigurd Fafnesbane'-helleristning? I don't have it at hand right now, but it looks familiar ...
I just love your textile stone carvings, Elizabeth!
