Time to have a party

Fortyfive years passed. Time to celebrate. Grab a cup of coffee or tea and take a piece of cake. When you click here you will hear Sam Cooke with Having a party.

A birthday party means also gifts. Since I can't give you the yummy stuff, I have been thinking about an different kind of give-away.  In this give-away you decide what you want to have, know or learn. Do you have a favourite piece, just let me know. Is there something you really would like to know about my Danish isle, my hometown or me? Or maybe a technique I used, which is giving you a hard time. Just ask!!!!

I hope you will leave all your questions and wishes today, so we can have the best party ever.

Enjoy your tuesday with a smile in your heart and on your face.

Happy Birthday!! It is YOUR birthday right??
That cake looks delicious.;))
I have a question, is there a bridge to your island or do you have to cross by ferry always.;) And if you cross, can you take your car with you.;))
Have a lovely day, full with sunshine!;))

Hej Zuzana,

You can take the bridge which lies south. Or you can take the ferry with your bike, car, motor, truck or any other vehicle. The crossing takes about 7 minutes, so there is hardly time to get seasick. The ferry lands north on the island.

The sun is shining and one wish forfilled. What a grand day!!!!

I think I am here in time - to wish you happy birthday..

and to get a lovely long description of your island - how big, how many people, what sort of typical houses , is there a particular style of house, what is the main industry - so curious about your island life...

Congratulations and a very happy birthday, dear Elizabeth! In Austria, we also express the wish for a good and joyful new year of life, and that's what I would like to wish you as well!

I would also be very interested in learning more about your island - and as you so generously have told us to wish for something, I would like to ask you for a piece of driftwood, when you walk your beach some time - I love driftwood so much, and there is no sea in this country!

It doesn't have to be so big, that would cost a lot of stamps! And, dear Elizabeth, what would you like to have from me? You're the birthdaychild today!

Hej Mary and Anneli,

I will write a post about the island with lots of pictures. The posting will probably be next week.

Well, this just goes to show you that I'm not thinking straight lately! When I read your birthday wish, I told Mark...Oh God, it was your birthday too!! I thought it was the 11th of May, the same as my niece's birthday. I remember our conversation about being a Taurus and what day our birthday was!

I hope you will forgive me. I am sorry that I missed YOUR day, my friend!! I am sending you a belated but very meaningful, HAPPY 46TH BIRTHDAY WISHES to YOU!!! I hope you had a beautiful day with your family and that it was filled with all the love and gifts your heart could hold!!! I hope this new year is filled with love, happiness, beautiful music and lots of creative heart art...Taurus girl!!!

I love hearing and seeing pictures of your hometown and island...it's so beautiful and fun to see! I enjoy all that you share.

Enjoy your day today with a smile in your heart!!! XO ~me
