A visit

Last weekend we had a surprise. On friday afternoon the doorbell rang, I opened the door and two friends from the Netherlands were on our doorstep. It was a wonderful surprise and we had a fantastic weekend although there were no fish caught.

My girlfriend wanted to learn how to make a Pinky. So after thirty years she picked up her needle again and I showed her how to do it. This is the result of a wonderful afternoon with a pot of tea, some yarn, a needle and great conversation. She made her own Pinky and I made the other two.

Some fish after all.

Thank you all for visiting this week and for the lovely comments which are so inspiring to read. Have a fabulous weekend, maybe with something unexpected.

How fun...nothing like great company and time with a good friend. How great that you shared how to crochet a pinky with her! Maybe she'll start crocheting again! It sounds like you had a wonderful time together and I'm sure she'll cherish her pinky forever. ~Lisa
